This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Brush Hour (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles data. By using the app, you consent to the collection, use, and potential disclosure of information as outlined in this Policy, which may be amended at any time without notice.

Your use of Brush Hour constitutes your understanding that certain data, including but not limited to images, prompts, device information, or usage patterns, may be collected, transmitted, processed, or stored for the purpose of operating and improving the app, its features, and supporting technologies.
The app may rely on third-party services for processing and delivery of features. We are not responsible for the data handling practices, privacy policies, or security failures of any third party, including but not limited to service providers, cloud platforms, or external APIs.

Facial Features and Sensitive Content
If you upload images with faces, you acknowledge that those images may be temporarily or incidentally analyzed as part of image-to-image transformation. However:
Face data is not required for app functionality.
Face data is not explicitly labeled, stored, or extracted by us.
Any incidental handling of facial features is for transformation purposes only, and not for identity recognition, biometric authentication, or user tracking.
By uploading any image, you agree that you have the right to use and submit the content and that any human likeness is voluntarily included.
Third-Party Processing
Data may be routed through or processed by third parties (e.g., external AI services, cloud providers, APIs). These parties may be located in any jurisdiction and are subject to their own terms.
We make no representations or warranties regarding the data handling of such entities and disclaim any liability for misuse, breach, or negligence by third parties.
Storage and Retention
We do not guarantee the permanent deletion or immediate removal of data after processing.
Data may be cached, logged, or retained temporarily or indefinitely by third-party infrastructure, network providers, or intermediaries outside our control.
We are not obligated to store, retrieve, or delete any data upon request, unless required by applicable law.
Face Data – Information & Disclosures
What face data does the app collect?
Brush Hour does not intentionally collect, identify, extract, or label any facial data. If a user voluntarily uploads an image containing a face, it may be processed as part of the user-requested image generation workflow. No biometric identifiers or facial recognition data are collected.
Planned uses of collected face data
Facial features may be incidentally processed for visual style transformation and prompt generation, solely based on the image the user submits. The app does not perform identity recognition, facial mapping, or biometric storage. Face data, if present, is not used for authentication, surveillance, user profiling, or advertising.
Will face data be shared with third parties?
Yes. Uploaded images, which may contain a face, are transmitted to third-party image analysis and generation providers (e.g., Google Gemini, Runware) to fulfill the core functionality of the app. These providers may temporarily process such content solely to generate the requested result. The app does not control third-party handling practices and disclaims all responsibility for external service behavior.
Where will this information be stored?
The app itself does not store user images or face data. However, third-party processing platforms may temporarily store such data as part of their own independent processing pipeline. Brush Hour does not retain, cache, or back up any user-uploaded media on its own servers.
How long will face data be retained?
Brush Hour does not retain any face data. Any user image is transmitted to third-party processors and discarded after use, in accordance with the third party’s retention policies. Brush Hour does not guarantee deletion times for systems outside its control.
Where is this information explained in the privacy policy?
All collection, use, and handling of face data is disclosed in the Privacy Policy under the section titled “Face Data – Information & Disclosures”, as well as Sections 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Disclosure
We reserve the right to disclose data to affiliated, unaffiliated, domestic, or foreign entities in the event of technical necessity, legal requirement, audit, internal review, or system integration.
Disclosure may occur without user notice or consent when deemed necessary by us or mandated by authorities.
Security
While we take reasonable measures to safeguard data in transit, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We are not responsible for unauthorized access, hacking, interception, loss, or exposure of any data at any stage.
You assume all risk for any data uploaded, transmitted, or generated using the app.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Brush Hour, its developers, affiliates, operators, or partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from the use or inability to use the app or any related service, including but not limited to loss of data, unauthorized access, or exposure of personal or sensitive information.
Use of the app is entirely at your own risk.
Children’s Privacy
The app is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. If you are under 13, do not use this app or submit any information.
We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
International Users
By using this app from outside your jurisdiction, you agree that your data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.
